Program description

"1. Student(s) must complete a scholarship application. 2. Student(s) must be currently enrolled at St. Louis Community College, and pursuing a Paramedic Certificate of Proficiency or an Associate of Applied Science ( AAS ) in Paramedic Technology 3. Student(s) must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and be in good standing. 4. Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours. 5. Student must compose an essay on the topic: “Why do you want to be a paramedic, and what are your career goals?” 6. Student(s) demonstrate unmet financial need as determined by the Financial Aid office under the standard federal needs analysis formula. 7. Student(s) who are selected as recipients of the scholarship will be required to send a note of thanks to the donor as a condition of receiving the award and may be asked to have a photograph taken for media use."
