Program description

"Gamma Omega Chapter will recognize outstanding high school seniors that reside in the St. Louis area and who have achieved academic success and /or have a financial need. Scholarships are awarded to Black or African American students only. Students must have a 2.5 GPA or higher. Scholarships Available 15 one time $1,000 scholarships Eligibility Criteria Applicants must: Be a graduating high school senior Identify as Black or African American Plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student, with a minimum of 12 credit hours, at an accredited, four-year degree-granting institution in the Fall of 2026 2.5 or higher GPA Demonstrate a financial need Be a permanent resident St. Louis City, St. Louis County or St. Charles County, MO Make sure to select someone who can write a strong letter of reference about you. Someone who knows your work ethic, character, talents, and personality. It is an important part of the review process. Finalists for this scholarship will be invited to a personal interview in May. Funds for this scholarship will be disbursed no later than August 31, 2026 Questions? Contact [email protected]"
