"UMass students who will be studying abroad are invited to apply for scholarships through Global Education. Apply one term before you intend to go abroad; for example, apply in fall for spring study abroad. Visit our website at https://www.umass.edu/global-affairs/education-abroad/finances/scholarships for more information on application deadlines, requirements, and to apply. The API Full-Ride Scholarship for UMass Amherst Students is open to any student who participates in a UMass-approved API program and meets the eligibility requirements. The scholarship covers the full cost of your API study abroad program plus a flight stipend. Two scholarships awarded each application cycle and it is available for fall, academic year, spring, and summer terms.
