"STUDENT AFFAIRS Scholarship will be awarded for the Fall and Spring semesters of the next academic year Awarding Department: Office of the VP, Student Affairs & Enrollment Management Scholarship Intent: To provide financial assistance for students who are economically and educationally disadvantaged. Criteria: Special consideration given to single or teen parents, students who have received Temporary Assistance for Needy Families ( TANF ) or other public assistance, students who are active in their church and/or community and first generation college students. Student recipient must be available to attend the Scholarship Awards Reception traditionally held in October.
