Betty Gray Community College Scholarship

"Dynamic and charming, Betty was deeply committed to childhood education, the arts, and supporting college scholarships. The Betty Gray Community College Scholarship was created through generous donations from the Gray Family Foundation and Oregon Community Foundation. The scholarship will be given to students in studying Early Childhood Education. Criteria: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to qualify for this scholarship. • Must demonstrate financial need via the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA ) or Oregon State Aid Application ( ORSAA ) • Each student must be enrolled in the Oregon Registry database by the end of the term they were awarded a scholarship. https://my.oregonregistryonline.org/ • Declared major in Early Childhood Education. • Must have completed six credits in ECE by time of the award. • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA Requirements: Once selected, the recipient must meet the following requirements in order to remain eligible for this scholarship. • Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress ( SAP ) as defined by the MHCC Office of Financial Aid (excluding maximum timeframe requirements).
