Boniface Scholars

"The Boniface Scholars Fund will award scholarships to high school seniors who are members in good standing of the following programs: Access Academies Scholars, Hope Ignites Residential and Academy Scholars, Loyola Academy Graduate Support, Marian Middle School Graduate Support, or Sister Thea Bowman Graduate Support programs. To be eligible, the applicant must: be a high school senior be a member in good standing of one of the following programs: Access Academies Scholars, Hope Ignites St. Louis Residential or Academy Scholars, Loyola Academy Graduate Support, Marian Middle School Graduate Support, or Sister Thea Bowman Graduate Support. have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). be planning to enroll full-time as an undergraduate student in a nonprofit, accredited, college, university, or trade/technical school and be pursuing a certificate, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree. demonstrate unmet financial need. In general, unmet financial need will be defined as the difference between the cost of attendance and the sum of the student’s grant aid from other sources, plus the Student Aid Index (as determined by the student’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Selection Selection will be based on the student’s contributions to the communities in which they live, the quality of the essay, the student’s academic record, a reference that indicates the student is in good standing with the Graduate Support program or BHGH , and consideration of financial and unusual circumstances. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please answer all questions that apply to you, even if they are not marked “required.” Renewal Recipients may reapply for award consideration for up to three additional undergraduate years.
