Program description

"DESCRIPTION Lexington Unifut Soccer Club created a scholarship honoring the life of Brian Mejia-Paxtor, a former Unifut player in Lexington. Brian had been a part of Unifut for many years and never missed a practice. He was always respectful, responsible, and a great example to his teammates and friends. An annual soccer tournament is held as a fundraiser to build the funds for this scholarship for both males and female players. QUALIFICATIONS The student must be: a senior at Lexington High School Earn at least a 2.0 cumulative unweighted GPA in high school former or current Unifut Soccer Club player (member) an active volunteer for the Lexington Unifut Soccer Club AWARD AMOUNT Varies AWARD DISBURSEMENT Funds will be sent to the Office of Financial Aid of the student’s school of choice. Additional requirements may be needed for payment."
