Dr. Samuel F. Trevino Engineering Scholarship

"This is a $25,000 current-use scholarship. The Montgomery College Foundation will award up to a total amount of $8,000 per academic year. (The $8,000 will benefit a maximum of 2 students at $4,000 each.) At the donor’s discretion, additional funds will be provided every 2-3 years to maintain a $25,000 scholarship balance. Those selected must meet the following criteria: 2nd year Engineering student; 3.0+ GPA ; demonstrated financial need. A scholarship committee will be created and tasked with the annual scholarship recipient selection process. The committee will include Mrs. Juliette Trevino, Dr. Donald Day, Ms. Patricia Lopez, Dr. Sanjay Rai and/or other designee(s) from the Montgomery College Engineering Department. If a committee member is either unable or unwilling to serve at any given time, the Montgomery College Engineering Department Chair will select an appropriate alternate committee member. Please note that unrestricted scholarships are given to students with financial need. If for any reason the Foundation cannot fulfill your request relative to the preferences indicated, we will then use the unrestricted criteria."
