"Criteria for Award: 1. Student is enrolled at St. Louis Community College. 2. Student has successfully graduated from High School. 3. Student will have completed at least two years of high school mathematics (Algebra I and II or higher.) 4. Preference will given to students who currently reside in the college district. 5. Preference will be given to students who identify as Black, Hispanic or Native American. 6. Student has a 2.5 math and science cumulative GPA and is in good academic standing. 7. Student has an ACT score of 18 in math and science sections. 8. Student is pursuing an AAS degree in engineering, accounting or information technologies. 9. Student will submit two letters of recommendation, one from a high school math or science teacher and one from another teacher or counselor."
