"Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is a non-profit community service organization that was founded in 1922 by seven African American women. The sorority’s mission is to improve the quality of life for women and their families through community service. Their programs and activities focus on public service, leadership development, education of youth, and enhancing the quality of life within the community. The sorority’s slogan is “Greater Service, Greater Progress”. Thank you for your interest in applying for the Eta Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Black Jack, MO Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. 2026 Scholarship! Please review the eligibility criteria carefully before submitting your application: Applicants must: Be a 2026 high school graduate from a school in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, or St. Charles County. Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or 3.5 on a 5.0 scale at the time of application and graduation. Submit a one-page essay Provide a recommendation letter from a teacher, mentor, pastor, or volunteer supervisor.
