Program description

"Mentoring refers to a relationship in which an individual shares relevant knowledge with and provides guidance to individuals who are either novices in or have less experience in a particular area. Although it is critical to the professional growth of individuals and to the development of organizations, the time involved in mentoring often goes unnoticed. The School appreciates the time that SoHE graduate students contribute to mentoring – of fellow graduate students and of undergraduate students. In order to encourage a commitment to mentoring, the SoHE will recognize exemplary mentoring by graduate students with this SoHE Graduate Student as Mentor Award. Up to two awards of $500 will be made annually.
