Program description

"First United Bank & Trust Honors Leaders Scholarship established by First United Bank & Trust in 2010 : An eligible applicant for this merit-based award has accumulated at least 24 credits at FCC and has a minimum GPA of 3.5. Applicant must agree to the following: - To graduate from FCC and FCC Honors College - To earn a leadership certificate either by taking the Introduction to Leadership course or leadership development workshops taught by faculty certified by Phi Theta Kappa - To earn a service certificate by completing 25 documented service hours (two project minimum) and writing a reflection paper on the impact the service had on those being helped by the student. - To complete a portfolio that will be used to obtain leadership certification. Semi-finalists will be interviewed by the Honors Program Coordinator before a recipient is selected. Recipient is required to write a thank you letter to the donor."
