Who is eligible

“Applicants must establish a connection to the state of nj in one or more ways as follows: (1) current or former resident (2) graduation from nj high school (3) graduation or attendance at a nj college (not eligible if this is the sole connection to nj). Gpa must be 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to students who have received a veterinary medical degree and are currently enrolled in a post-graduate program in veterinary medicine, including clinical residency programs, at an aavmc member institution. Preference will also be given to veterinary medical students who are enrolled in the second or later year of a dual degree program during the academic year. Dual degree programs include dvm/phd, dvm/ms, and dvm/mph or equivalent degree. Consideration will be given to students who are currently enrolled in a second or third year of a professional dvm curriculum during the academic year; students currently enrolled in first year are not eligible.”

Restrictions are quoted from the filing’s own words. A foundation’s mailing address doesn’t always decide who’s eligible — the restriction text above does.

Where this information comes from

Every fact on this page is published from the foundation’s own IRS Form 990-PF for the tax period ending 2023-12-31 (EIN 226042915). Part XV of that form is where a private foundation that accepts unsolicited applications must tell the IRS — and the public — who to send applications to, what to include, any deadlines, and any restrictions on awards. Most of these programs are never listed on scholarship search sites; the filing is often the only public record they exist.

Most listings on this site are compiled from the foundation’s own IRS Form 990-PF filing — the public record where foundations that accept applications must state who to contact, how to apply, any deadlines, and any restrictions. Listings under /award/ are a second, separate source: read directly from the foundation’s own public scholarship portal, with a link to that source on every page. Filings are annual and portals change between cycles, so details can change: always confirm the current deadline and requirements with the foundation before applying. This site is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by any foundation listed. Scholarship information here is free; we charge only for optional application coaching, and we never write your application for you.
