Who is eligible

“Any graduating high school senior who will enter a full-time program at a florida community/state college, state university or technical college and who has lived in eatonville, florida, for at least two years is eligible for a foundation scholarship that pays the unmet financial need of the student after financial aid and other scholarships have been taken into account. Scholarships are available for a total of four years for students who remain in good academic standing and serve on an advisory council for eatonville, florida students. The only criteria are residency in eatonville, florida, attendance at a florida state post-high school educational institution, and the performance of at least 25 hours of community service.”

Restrictions are quoted from the filing’s own words. A foundation’s mailing address doesn’t always decide who’s eligible — the restriction text above does.

How to apply

“Scholarship recipients must apply for the initial year's funding, certifying their post-secondary educational plans. Renewals are contingent on the student being in good academic standing as shown by transcripts. Scholarships will be paid directly to the school. In the event of any violation of the terms of a scholarship, the foundation will withhold further aid and if appropriate seek a refund of amounts paid while the student was in violation of the terms. It is anticipated that an award may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a degree is obtained, whichever occurs first. Renewal will be contingent upon satisfactory academic performance in a full-time course of study and continuation of the program by the foundation.”

Where this information comes from

Every fact on this page is published from the foundation’s own IRS Form 990-PF for the tax period ending 2024-12-31 (EIN 872073190). Part XV of that form is where a private foundation that accepts unsolicited applications must tell the IRS — and the public — who to send applications to, what to include, any deadlines, and any restrictions on awards. Most of these programs are never listed on scholarship search sites; the filing is often the only public record they exist.

Every listing on this site is compiled from the foundation’s own IRS Form 990-PF filing — the public record where foundations that accept applications must state who to contact, how to apply, any deadlines, and any restrictions. Filings are annual, so details can change between filings: always confirm the current deadline and requirements with the foundation before applying. This site is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by any foundation listed. Scholarship information here is free; we charge only for optional application coaching, and we never write your application for you.
